Drive-Sure® is a nationally recognized product, designed for new car dealership service departments. Drive-Sure® itself, is a program that contains three very valuable components for the service customer:
Nationwide Roadside Assistance
Whether running to the store or taking the family cross country, having the piece of mind of roadside assistance can mean the difference between a pleasant experience and disaster. There are a tremendous number of options available to us today for roadside assistance, but astonishingly not everyone realizes the need until it's too late.
Dealerships nationwide have realized this need, and have incorporated Drive-Sure® Nationwide Roadside Assistance to protect millions of vehicles and their owners. Drive-Sure® ensures safety, security and piece of mind while on the road.
Drive-Sure® Nationwide Roadside Assistance is provided for a specific benefit period (defined by your dealership) at no additional cost when receiving a qualifying service from a participating dealership. The benefits of Nationwide Roadside Assistance are immediate and require absolutely no registration or prepayment. Keeping Nationwide Roadside Assistance is simple, just return to the dealership for another regular scheduled maintenance before the end of the benefit period defined by that dealership.
Services such as towing, jump starts, lock-out, delivery of gas or other fluids, and even tire changes are at your disposal by calling a simple toll-free number. Best of all, the number is located conveniently on the oil change reminder sticker, traditionally placed in the upper left corner of the windshield.
Drive-Sure® Nationwide Roadside Assistance is provided as a premium Sign and Drive benefit. The caller pays nothing out of pocket, up to $75 per occurrence, with a limit of two occurrences per benefit period. As one of our dealership partners puts it, “We're by your side, every mile of the way!”

Rental Car Coverage
Our cars represent our individuality, but more importantly they are our primary mode of transportation.
In cooperation with Nationwide Roadside Assistance, Drive-Sure® also includes an additional service designed to provide a short term solution when a vehicle is disabled due to a mechanical breakdown.
Drive-Sure® Rental Car Coverage provides complimentary replacement transportation in the event that a vehicle suffers a mechanical failure. This coverage is at NO COST TO THE VEHICLE OWNER when purchasing a qualifying service from a participating dealership.
Rental Car Coverage provides one day of replacement transportation (up to $30) from the dealership or a licensed rental agency. Coverage is available when the vehicle:
• Experiences a mechanical breakdown.
• Utilizes Drive-Sure® Nationwide Roadside Assistance to tow the disabled vehicle to the servicing dealership.
• Has the vehicle repairs conducted at the dealership where the vehicle was towed.
Coverage is simple to renew, just return to that same dealership for another scheduled maintenance service before the end of the benefit period (defined by the dealership).
Road Hazard Tire Protection
Did you know dealerships sell and service tires? Don't be alarmed if you didn't, over 68% of the population isn't aware of this fact either. What's more, tires at a dealership are comparable to tires purchased through other outlets.
Have you ever blown a tire, had a slow leak caused by a nail or other impediment, hit a pothole or had other road hazard situations? Most of us have, but what happened next? Did we fuss over where to go or how to pay? How new was the tire or vehicle?
Vehicles regularly maintained at a participating dealership benefit from Drive-Sure® Road Hazard Tire Protection. In the event a vehicle is involved in a road hazard situation that damages a tire, Drive-Sure® will assure that the dealership repairs or replaces the tire at NO COST TO THE VEHICLE OWNER (see table below for benefit limits). Vehicles are eligible when receiving a prior qualifying Drive-Sure® featured service from a participating dealership.
Drive-Sure® Road Hazard Tire Protection is provided for a specific benefit period (defined by the dealership) from the date of service. Simply return to that same dealership for another scheduled maintenance service before the end of the benefit period to renew Tire Protection.
Road Hazard Tire Protection provides the following coverage to qualified Drive-Sure® customers, for a benefit period defined by the dealership:
